Welcome!

The Triangle Club is a non-profit organization serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) 12-step recovery community of the Washington DC area. Our mission is to provide a safe and dependable clubhouse space where LGBT people may hold meetings in accordance with the 12 Steps and Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous. We also foster an environment for fellowship, education, spiritual support and social opportunities. We are proud to have been of service to the LGBT recovery community since 1990.

The Triangle Club is an incorporated organization not owned by any 12-step group or collection of 12-step groups that meet at the facility such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon Family Groups, Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA), Debtors Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Co-Dependent's Anonymous, Sex & Love Addicts Anonymous, etc. In accordance with the Sixth Tradition of Alcoholics Anonymous, these organizations do not finance or lend their name to any related facility. We respect and abide by the Guidelines on Clubs published by AA World Services. The Club is also separate from treatment facilities and the Capital Roundup, though; we do at times work in partnership.
